Following a very successful competitive swimming career at the University of Florida and as a member of the United States National Swim Team, Megan Melgaard is currently a professional extreme athlete, specializing in open water swimming, pool swimming, on and off road triathlon, and adventure racing.

For over 15 years, Megan has successfully trained amateur, world-class and professional athletes to become stronger and faster in their respective disciplines. She has trained professionals in multiple sports, including Triathlon, Football, Boxing, and Swimming.

Upon landing a role in the blockbuster film, The Guardian, Megan has continued to work in the entertainment industry, including working as a safety diver for the Discovery Channel, as well as Location Scout for water based commercials throughout the country. She was an Associate Producer for the sports documentary, “Living is Winning.”

After helping launch Splish, a niche swimwear company, Megan now has a growing clientele seeking her business leadership. The combination of an MBA and a Masters Degree in Information Technology has led to an association with kustomWeb, where she manages the creation of web-based highly-customized business and eCommerce solutions.
